Description: The Keyboard Wedge to USB Adapter Cable from ID Tech® takes the keyboard wedge output and converts it to USB/Keyboard input, allowing the connection of a standard keyboard interface device to the USB port of a host computer. By plugging the reader�??s 6 pin mini DIN connector into the adapter, and the other end of the adapter into one of the host�??s USB input ports, data from the reader will appear to the host as if entered via the keyboard. With a length of up to 2.5 feet, the cable offers you flexibility of movement. The Keyboard Wedge to USB Adapter Cable is designed to work with any ID TECH bar code or magnetic stripe reader that has a keyboard wedge interface.
